Picnick is a sustainable restaurant concept launched in Battery Park of New York City on Labor Day 2007 and serves as a mini-model of consumer & eco-conscious food service. Picnick sources most ingredients from small farms and local businesses. Any global vendors must meet Fair Trade quotas or adhere to a socially conscious philanthropy. Packaging and disposables are biodegradable or compostable. Many of the products directly support social and environmental causes and our revenues are tied to the beautification of Battery Park.
